energy
i interviewed a tufts applicant today. he is in the top 10% of his class, plays soccer in the fall, track in the winter and baseball in the spring, and plays trumpet in the band, jazz band and orchestra. remember when we had that kind of energy? i do. sigh.

when i was still doing TAAP i interviewed people who were WAY more qualified than i was at age - the things they have to do to get into college these days!
well he was def qualified, but didn't seem to care that much about tufts. he should have at least faked it... i said as much, but reccomended him, since he would be an active student and could bring a lot to the campus.
